Thanks to the SONY Starvis 2 sensor, the Prido i12 PRO 3-View dash cam supports HDR technology, which uses intelligent algorithms in real time to optimize the exposure level of the frames recorded by the camera. As a result, the camera sees more when there is little light around and is not dazzled when you are driving towards the sun. This is particularly important when reading the license plates of passing vehicles, which, due to their surface, tend to be overexposed in night recordings. HDR solves this problem.

GPS
Read vehicle speed and location
The holder of the Prido i12 PRO 3-View HDR dash cam contains a built-in GPS module that gives you access to location data such as the car’s geographical position and the speed at which the vehicle is moving. Thanks to GPS data, you have precise information about the vehicle’s position and speed, which can be very helpful when claiming compensation after a road incident.
Loop recording
Be sure your route is recorded
Thanks to the loop video recording function, you don’t have to worry about missing an important moment of your route because the memory card in the device has run out of space. Once the storage is full, the Prido i12 PRO 3-View HDR dash cam automatically starts deleting the oldest recordings and saves new video footage in their place.
G-Sensor
Automatic protection
The Prido i12 PRO 3-View HDR camera features automatic file protection from being overwritten during loop recording. If the built-in G-Sensor detects an overload that may indicate the vehicle’s involvement in a dangerous road situation (e.g. an impact or sudden braking), the currently recorded video will be automatically protected and will not be deleted from the memory card during file overwriting.
Alerts
Safety while driving
The Prido i12 PRO 3-View HDR camera can remind you to take breaks during long trips and check whether the car’s lights are switched on before you set off. All this is possible thanks to alerts that you can activate in the device’s settings.
Parking modes
Secure evidence of parking damage
After connecting the camera to a constant power source using the Prido Hardwire Kit HK2, the dash cam is ready to operate in parking mode. The user can choose the classic parking mode, in which the camera wakes up and records an event when the G-Sensor detects an overload, for example an impact on the car while parked, and the timelapse mode, in which the camera takes 1 photo per second.
